Description: She wears a simple black robe with tan stripes complete with hood. Her long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Joan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Joan was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Brewer and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
