History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. During his travels, Nicholas and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Nicholas discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
