History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Cory has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

History: Katherine was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
