He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Weaver.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Simon embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fisher. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he's in love

Description: She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and she perpetually has her lance ready. She keeps her long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. Her brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Maynild hails from a village terrorized by giants. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Maynild alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes her a fraud
