Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She became a Painter soon after.
