History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. Through the years after Frederick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Frederick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

Description: This malnourished man wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Navigator business.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

History: The child of a Interpreter, who enjoyed hunting, Aldous was taken on many hunting expeditions. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Ernest was born the youngest of three triplets. He worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
