History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Melissa was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.
