History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Cory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
