Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a blue cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. Her auburn hair is long and unkept. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Jacoba was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is wearing a tight blue one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. Her chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Through the years after Hugolina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hugolina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Slave Trader, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
