Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his son

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Sybil and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
