History: Born in the west to a Priest, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Roland was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roland decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: The child of a Stylist, who enjoyed hunting, Rosamund was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She bought a hand crossbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers.
