History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and expand his business

She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and to reunite with her absent mother
