Personality: Melissa wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Melissa is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melissa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Anne was born the youngest of three triplets. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

History: The child of a Painter, who enjoyed hunting, Shane was taken on many hunting expeditions. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
