History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Percival fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
