Personality: He is happy with his job as a Dyer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
