Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the west to a Courier, Ermina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Navigator profession.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bellfounder for the past few years.
