History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Alice learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When Alice reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The war was a terrible time for him, and Solomon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Solomon hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student she started as a Soapmaker, but she got bored and became a Miller. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.
