History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Diggory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Diggory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is greedy
