History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
