History: Adam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Peter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Peter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Performer. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Performer.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Cook who has hired him part-time. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and to settle down with his crush
