Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Geoffrey hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Geoffrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Geoffrey was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Interpreter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Adelard was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Interpreter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Through the years after Agnes was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Agnes's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
