Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roger's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fletcher. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This fat eastern woman has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a black poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She wears a feathered hat to cover her moderate length blonde hair. Her gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. The war was a terrible time for her, and Matilda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Matilda was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Spice Merchant. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
