History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
