Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She has shaved her head bald. Her eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Juliana embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Juliana lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Marshal, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Marshal and was forced into it by her family; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: She is dressed in an above average manner, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'8" when asserting herself. Her red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He dresses like a well dressed Carpenter does. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Voice: Thin and wheezing

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His chestnut hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Being a Shoemaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and a rival would like him out of the picture
