His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
