History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Butcher, and she later adopted a second son.
