History: Kody lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant father left him crippled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a healer and was forced into it by his family

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
