History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has worked as a Sellsword like his father before him.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment and is in decent physical shape. His head has been shaved. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to reunite with his old friends

She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She is greedy; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
