History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Aline was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hubert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hubert. Being a Stableman kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
