Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. She wears black painted combat armor at almost all times, marred by sweets. Her moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriel. After a long history of fighting, Oriel and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by his family
