History: Joan was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Joan abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has achieved small success as a Blacksmith.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was a Carter, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Justin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She got into the Ruler business at a young age. Through the years after Avice was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Avice's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Avelina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Crown-heir like her mother before her.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
