Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Gerald was born the youngest of three triplets. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
