History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Conrad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Conrad. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spice Merchant. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Junk Dealer business.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Joan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Doctor. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new doctor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
