He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Nicholas liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
