History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Everard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Reynard will drive conversation. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
