History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Hubert was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shoemaker. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Shoemaker, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Matilda reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
