History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Through the years after Tim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to unite with his brother
