History: He was born in a small mountains village. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Alice reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away.
