History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and human compassion

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and to clean up the streets
