He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. John was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Dean was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Dean was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shepherd. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
