Bertram Radcliffe, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An older man who wears dull brown sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed longsword, just in case, he is not a threatening figure. He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
Ideals: Impeccable, Entrepeneur. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Poor, Adventurer. Occupation: Laborer
Voice: Eastern European accent
