History: He was born in a small mountains village. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Juliana is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She got into the Baker business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Galiena will drive conversation. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Dilettante, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sculptor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sculptor work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
