History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He married young, but lost his spouse to drow. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
