One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Roland is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a morningstar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Emeny was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Carter, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Description: This eastern woman is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She has moderate length chestnut hair. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her childhood dream was to be a Weaver, but she was a colossal failure. She became a Layabout soon after.
