History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Through the years after Gerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Kody was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
