History: Emeny was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.
