History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Juliana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
