He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.
