History: The child of a Crown-heir, who enjoyed hunting, Tim was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Painter. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jacoba does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jacoba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
