History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
